Yes, Otter.ai is hiring, and every open role on its job board publishes a pay range. Otter makes
the AI notetaker that records, transcribes and summarises meetings. On 20 October 2026 it
announced $320 million in growth financing from General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund, which it
says will go into enterprise growth, sales and international expansion. Otter says it has more than
40 million users, including teams at over 86% of the Fortune 500, and has transcribed more than
1 billion meetings. The announcement doesn’t give a valuation, and this kind of growth financing
isn’t described as a share sale.
Most open roles are engineering jobs at the Mountain View headquarters, from software engineers
to directors, with marketing, brand and sales roles in San Francisco. Software engineering ranges
step up clearly by level, which makes Otter’s ads a useful guide to what each step is worth. The
three sales and solutions roles give their ranges as on-target earnings, including commission, so
we keep them apart from base pay.
