Yes, Peak Energy is hiring, and it posts a pay range on every open role except five of its
engineering internships. Peak makes passively cooled sodium-ion battery systems for grid energy
storage. On 21 October 2026 it announced an
oversubscribed $108 million Series B led by General Motors Ventures, with Maverick Silicon,
Infinite Capital, Eclipse, Xora Innovation and LG Technology Ventures taking part. Peak says the
money will help it scale manufacturing in the US and deliver more than $1 billion in existing
customer orders and commitments, and that its 4 GWh factory in Sacramento, California will start
production in the first quarter of 2027.
That factory explains the job list: most open roles are in battery system engineering and
manufacturing engineering, based in Burlingame, with a group in Sacramento and a few roles
that can also sit in Broomfield, Colorado. Technician and intern roles are paid by the hour. Peak
names no valuation for the round.

A role listed in several places is counted in each.
We read Peak Energy's public job board on 27 October 2026 and counted every open role. Pay figures are
the ranges Peak Energy publishes in its own ads (many US states require employers to post them), shown as
written: we never estimate a role's pay. Most ranges are base pay; where an ad says its range is
on-target earnings (base plus commission), we mark it OTE and leave it out of the base pay figures.
Where an ad gives different ranges by location, or one range per job level, we show the lowest to the
highest. Equity, bonuses
and benefits come on top where offered. Roles change daily, so check the careers page before applying. We refresh this page
regularly while Peak Energy is hiring; national figures come from the
same official sources as our salary pages.
