Yes, Town is hiring, and every open role on its job board has a posted pay range. Town makes an AI assistant for teams: each person gets a “Townie” that connects to their email, calendar, docs and work tools, learns how they work and takes tasks off their plate, and Townies can pass work to each other. On 19 October 2026 Town announced a $108 million Series B co-led by Forerunner Ventures and Menlo Ventures, with a16z and First Round Capital returning, which it says values the company at $1 billion. Town launched publicly in June 2026 with a $55 million Series A and says that since July its paying customers have grown four times and its paying teams nine times.

It is a small, engineering-heavy team. Most open roles are in engineering, product and design (which Town calls EPD), almost all in San Francisco, with two engineering roles in New York. The rest are founding recruiters, community and brand roles and product support.

How we built this page

We read Town's public job board on 27 October 2026 and counted every open role. Pay figures are the ranges Town publishes in its own ads (many US states require employers to post them), shown as written: we never estimate a role's pay. Most ranges are base pay; where an ad says its range is on-target earnings (base plus commission), we mark it OTE and leave it out of the base pay figures. Where an ad gives different ranges by location, or one range per job level, we show the lowest to the highest. Equity, bonuses and benefits come on top where offered. Roles change daily, so check the careers page before applying. We refresh this page regularly while Town is hiring; national figures come from the same official sources as our salary pages.
